Each of us has a system that drives this human body
A family has a tradition and lays rules for everybody
Sharing of resources, preferences, needs and risk,
Intent and belief lead the communities to click
People in close social association obeying to live
In a common rule, to honestly share and survive
Thus expanding, growing into villages and towns from hamlets
Common union leading to our own community in all streets
Achieved after the turmoil and sacrifice of all great leaders
Through their peaceful protests to drive out the intruders
To reunite India under a single constitution of Indian Republic
Celebrated from our hearts today, hoisting the tri-colour fabric
Only to breathe independence and work to achieve our own goal
After our culture and tradition was contaminated by foreign rule
