Theme: Love

L-O-V-E

The day I saw you,
love came to me, bountiful
as a beautifully bonded bouquet -
carefully culled bunch of ruby-red roses
tied with silvery silken threads
wrapped in gossamer-gold cellophane
with ‘Love is in the Air’
scribbled on the tag!

Bathe me,
in the fragrant showers of your love
till my blazing body and smouldering soul
soak in the passion-ponds of your aqua-marine eyes,
Let smile be painted on the canvass of your fine face
when I drown in the tempest of my own tear-drops!
I shall kiss the petal lips of blushing flower
till I levitate in this state of eccentric euphoria!

Let love smother me
in the periphery of your exhilarating embrace.
As your bosom pushes against my chest
thousand butterflies flutter
in the dark cavern of my stomach
and our hearts beat faster, and faster
in pursuit of eternal bliss

Oh my beloved,
Love - like an enthralling emperor
shall forever reign the peacock throne of our hearts
from this blessed Valentine’s Day to infinity
until our immortal souls merge into one
to attain salvation…
