Saragossa

Help!
I´m a prisoner on a seven storey flat and
In the darkness, of the young night, I see ships
In the bay lit up as Christmas trees.
It is as they are blinking a message just for me:
“Come join us for a last voyage to the South Seas”.
But I have no rowing boat, and to swim is too far.
So much skin I have it´s like an overcoat hiding
a shrinking body and my muscles are soft by too
domestic tameness; suit and tie. ..man!
A seagull sits on the railing of the terrace, we met
before, it followed my ship for days. It shakes its
head in sadness, take lift and flies yonder.
But I know we´ll meet again when I´m free to sail
to the Saragossa Sea.
