Tears

How does one suppress
A very determined tear
One that clouds the eye
And refuses to dry
Balancing on the eyelid
She tries desperately to rid
Herself of this sign a tell tale
But all her efforts do fail
Finally it slides down
Her cheek and drowns
In the others that flow
Exposing pent up sorrow
