At the water's edge
Where life was pristine
Children's laughter
And smiles were seen
It has been a long time
Since I was at that age

Having a good time
With other kids

At the water's edge

The lapping of water
The breeze smelt clean and fine

I was with my siblings
We laughed all the time

Giggling and enjoying life
With mother near

Heavenly moment spent
At the water's edge.
