Fireflies twinkling
Amidst the grass,
Fireflies flashing
Over the croaking frogs.

Fireflies shimmering
Across the river,
Fireflies twinkling
In the bamboo grove.

Fireflies iridescent
On the leaves,
Fireflies sparkling
In an ignescent thicket.

Fireflies hesitating
Over the imagination
Before they
Encompass the universe.
