In Your Name

Up on the hill I wrote your name on moor But the landslide carried it away. On the sea beach I wrote your name on sand But unruly waves washed it away. Under the open sky I wrote your name in space But westerly winds blew it away. Inside the house I inscribed your name on wall But cruelty of destiny erased it all. Then In a tender moment I inked it into my heart Where it stayed forever and all.
