In the dead of night

Waking up from my sleep

I search you my love

Beyond the limits of the sky.

When I find you are not by my side

And in the courtyard

The flowers have all shed

Like a bird struck by an arrow

Tossing on the ground

My heart only cries.

At midnight it is silent all around

The world is asleep

In these silent hours

Like thorns
