Neither are invited nor planned
They just happen
Take humanity by surprise
Create confusion and chaos
And leave a streak of ruin.
But they also trigger mankind
To reunite, recreate and rebuild
On the path of progress to move
With a firm and greater resolve.
So is love
Beyond the boundaries of
Age, cast, race and religion
Like a thunderbolt
It strikes to take possession
Of the human body and soul.
Lucky survives to be blessed forever
Unlucky is ruined and cursed forever
With the wound difficult to heal
Some learn to live with the pain
Dedicating self to humanity's gain.
