Even after your loss
One of the photos of yours
Remained with me forever.

Like colours in my real life
The photo is black and white
A case of mutual admiration
And camaraderie of all time.

Like my own real persona
The photo remains unchanged
Like my own real nature
False promises it never made.

Whether in peace or at war
With me it stays all season
Like a true companion-in-arms
Inspires me to be better person.

Should you ever know ...!
I am in love with this photo
For unlike you it never changed
And I can claim it's always mine.
