Theme: Transition

For Him

She was a
Sexy doll
For him -
When he
Courted her.

She was a
Fairy princess
For him -
When he
Wedded her.

She turned a
Legal whore
For him -
When he
Bedded her.

She became a
Bruised woman
For him -
When he
Abused her.

Finally,
She became a
Behenji for him
When he
Divorced her.

The cycle still
Continues…
He searches for
New avenues…
To entrap another
Woman to replace her.

As they say,
Marriages are
Made in heaven,
And broken in
Hell.

Comment a strong smurk on the face of manhood bravely weaved into words....... in the most frank way.

Comment She was divine
From her the inspiration flowed;
She was the symbol of strength
The Devil bowed.

With the passage of time
The values lost;
With mercenary motives
Her glory frost.

Love is now
For tuppence sold:
Man made marriages
Seldom hold.

Comment She was a
Wife
For 'another' him -
When he
was born to her

She was a
Mother
To him
When he
Suckled her

The cycle I think will be complete....
Generations change...
Not the attitudes...

Great verse...
