Rejuvenation 

O river, 
Sitting at your bank 
I wonder 
Whether you are; or were! 
The banks give you identity 
Otherwise 
You are just a flow of water, 

O tower, likewise 
You stood erect for sometime 
And then collapsed in the flow of time 
The body was dead, and form destroyed 
Saddening it is, but
To merge in its own elements 
Is the destiny of matter, 

However, nothing is lost forever, 
The soul is never destroyed, and 
The banks continue to exist 
(Though the river dries up), and 
The substratum springs forth 
New whirlpools 
In the ocean of Eternal Existence!
