My Love

I met her....

She smiled at me...she led me to heaven
My hands, her arms, those beautiful eyes

Her looks that killed and unveiled the age
Of happy souls and love to stay

The care of her heart and love for me
She breathes the air of hope for me

Leaving the winds of turbulence
there is no pain or hate in me

She comes slowly and touches my heart
Filling my life in joy throughout

my pains and sorrows are over now
her eyes, her arms are mine now

she will take over my life and give me
the care i was bereft in rife

she will be mine and life hers, taking joy in pride
and love in my stride

I love her for the day I saw her
but her eyes didn't see my love then

She sees my love and goes through
Today is the day to breathe through

I will love her with all my life
and take her to my golden heart

See me o dear darling
let me hold you hand with mine

She is mine and no one else's
My heart is hers and hers is mine.
