Crossroads of Dissent 

I stand at cross roads
Hither lies "my" way
be myself and seek my destiny
alone but content
living as I seek
with never a censure of regret
Mistakes are all mine
and all regrets mine
Holes I dig and pull myself out
and in the end I dig my grave
and bury myself deep in it
My own person to the very end
And thither lies the accepted way
entails stepping into the shoes of someone
Already created by else
and embrace a destiny already waiting.
caught between self
and failing to know thy own self
searching for an identity
apart from what you are known by
Seeking the true self
Lost in the scuffle of 
being one with the world.
