I write this for the man who holds my heart,
I Pray that we will never have to part.
Since I met you, you have taught me things
that I never will forget.
God heard my prayer, I just want to be loved
so he sent me you from heaven above
Some things in life were truly meant to be
just the way you are for me.
You have made my life special in many different ways,
you show you love me day after day
I love you more than you will ever know
and that love will continue to grow
Someday I hope to be your wife
to share with you all the joys in this life
My greatest need will someday be,
when our little family is added to the tree
