Innocent

Innocent, euphoric, those lovely eyes
those lil' hands, that hold my heart
carefree, joyous, often mystic with unknown
their dreams intact, forbidden to my vex

reality too cruel, to those lovely children
I so much miss, their tantrum to my peace
once in a week, they warm my soul
I give everything that I now, own

Wishes and happiness, all I can hope
cycle of broken heart never amiss
father, dad, their lil' voices carry
I yearn to hear, see, hold, and touch my dreams

Belief is my messiah, to carry the philosophy
love, joy happiness aslant to my ignorance
energize self, for life is all beginning
model them with truth and shower them with love

Innocent beginning's, innocent, yet breviary
Material, selfish, far from their thought
keep them simple, simple they will grow
savant to my affairs, my boys will be my boys.
