To the mother of young children,
there's a time and place for everything, except rest.
My Mother's Day Masterpiece

Take the test, do the best
Mother of a young nest
Creative, endearing, exciting, appealing
Taxing moments that astound
Not enough to go around
Why be Wonder women to a certain few
Super Mom, we're chauffeurs
Nurse, accountants
Connoisseurs
Nonsense makers
Heart renderer with episodes
So many things in reverse
Like Dr. Susse
We're Mr. Rogers, Einstein too
Pick a name, we'll be them too
Humorous and temperamental
Limitations reached
Make it optional if you please
Abhorrent moments, what can one say
Find a moment to stop and pray
We read a book to get away
To far away places that our hearts do stray
Never stop till the last child's tucked in
What a chore to be a Mom
Most of all we had fun
It's good to look back and see
We persevered with stability.
