To My Love

Like a drop of rain on an arid plain,
You came into my life one autumn day,
I thought I'd never fall in love again,
But you, my sweet, stole my heart away.

Your arms so strong, your face so fine,
Your heart so warm, your smile divine,
Your sunny nature, cheers my soul,
Your love is the greatest honor of all.

Your wisdom and candor are your strengths,
Your zest for life attracts new friends,
Your thirst for adventure appeals to me,
I realize, only with you, I can be 'ME'.

I know it might be it too early to admit,
But I can't keep my mind locked-up no more,
I spend my time wishing, and to the Gods I pray,
That you stay on in my life, for evermore.
