Its Mountains That Come To Me

Its mountains that come to me
in the deep of the night
spreading mist over the valleys
of my soul
calming me with their breath
telling me not to lose strength.

Trees in my garden talk to me
each tree a character in its own right
my favorite - the Neem tree
tells me to have faith in nature
in God…
tells me to only look for truth.

The sky
has ached to know me
more intimately
…I know…
I know the sky…
above me…
covering me from the cosmic forces
of the universe…
eating up the fiery anger of the stars…
sky…
the immense sky…
loves me… keeps reminding me
that it does…
tells me not to give up
not to become weak
promises me strength
as vast as itself
if only I "will" hard enough.
