Where I Live

I have a hidden place where
I do survive alone.

My pain and aloneness 
My dreams and their ashes
Everything I carry and a strange feeling-
Keeps me awake all the time.

This is my peace.
My peace! With these honest feelings -
I now write for you.
If a better tomorrow
Comes and I have my dreams back.

If you would smile again at me -
not for any reason,
If I could spend my nights in peaceful sleep-
Without all these nonsense thoughts (as you say)
I will survive long enough into my own escapist world.
