Beauty or Beast?

Animals sacrificed to satiate plebeian desires,

Perfumes, after shaves, mink and leather
Embellished to adduce covetous gleam

Alas! what eyes can see -
The beauty on the body,
Do they see the "GRAVEYARDS" within?

A rabbit's agony in the luscious hair *
A ewe's child in the soft fur hat **
A dead deer in the manly musk  ***

Is this all what beauty is about?

Barbarians and Sadists are souls, indeed
that for glamour and lust
bring all wild life to dust.

* Shampoo testing procedure: A rabbit’s head is clamped and shampoo concentrate is dropped in its eyes to test the level of redness. They, also, test at what concentrate level does it blind the rabbit.
** A pregnant Ewe is hit with an iron rod to induce premature delivery. The young one is then skinned alive so that its fur remains soft.
*** The deer secretes musk in a pouch in its body when its in pain. The deer is whipped repeatedly and when its in pain, its stomach is ripped open and the musk collected ( a few ml every time). This process is repeated till the animal dies.
