Theme :  Love
Brain Food, The Muse
by Joy A. Burki-Watson

Beware! of love that takes space and makes fences;
It imprisons the heart and puts reins on the soul.
Attraction, repulsion will jumble your senses -
While corralling good thoughts to escape down a hole.

It imprisons the heart and puts reins on the soul;
This oppression may find you attempting to please -
While corralling good thoughts to escape down a hole,
As you beg for your mercy, quite down on your knees.

This oppression may find you attempting to please -
When you know in your heart that you must take a stand.
As you beg for your mercy, quite down on your knees,
It’s divergence from truth that will break natural man.

When you know in your heart that you must take a stand
With the planets aligned and the moon on the rise.
It’s divergence from truth that will break natural man -
While keeping in mind that the soul sees with the eyes.

With the planets aligned and the moon on the rise;
Attraction, repulsion will jumble your senses -
While keeping in mind; the soul sees with the eyes.
Beware! of love that takes space and makes fences.
