Our friendship, once regarded as holy,
Has now been lost, due to my folly.
As friends, we shared a relation, perfect
Nothing, our friendship, could affect.
You listened patiently, whenever I spoke,
I took our relation seriously, but you made it a joke.
If your life, I had spoiled,
My dreams, even you had foiled.
As a friend, I had for you, so much revere,
But, you severed our friendship, and inflicted pain, so severe.
In my eyes and thoughts, I always held you high,
My love for you was a naked truth, but you made it seem a lie.
Even now, I long for your love still,
Think about it, you’ve a way, where there is a will.
