Beyond the Shadows

Beyond the shadows
Into the arms of victory,
Paradise, god himself.
Remember it is always
The positive, a reward,
A due consideration
For all that we've gone through;
How can the universe
Be so ungrateful.
There is an intelligent order
That always watches over us,
Else our existence will be absurd,
And we can't live with that,
Can we?

Beyond the shadows
Into the arms of love,
The sybaritic moment,
The consummation,
And a Hegelian extension
Into the limitless future.
Remember the Tantric tradition,
The Christian temptation.
We have to find a true denouement
That both excites and satisfies;
If we've made all the effort,
Are not frightened or fickle
Then, there has to be,
A fitting conclusion to our existence.
