My Sight

One Morning sitting near the window side
I waited for some light.
Not any light could I see
Not a bird flew, No trees around, all black
What happened, wondered I...

For a long time I sat there
As if I had nothing to worry and nothing to care
I tried putting my head outside the window
And looked up to get some light
Still I didn't get any light
Nor could I see a flying kite.

Then a thought crossed my mind
Why can't I see light of any kind ?
I remembered I am not a man of normal kind
Infact I was a man who was completely blind.
