My residence is semi-detached, in the corner, i.e. on turn, thus the entire plot is triangular in shape. The main door is facing NW direction. The kitchen is situated at SE of the house. The cooking range is situated exactly at SE corner of the kitchen, and the sink is situated on the left hand side of the range, with washing machine in between. Kindly suggest.

Existing houses are what they are. Rectification is not recommended in Vastu Shastra. Main door facing NW is not compliant with recommendations. IF house is rotated away from true north/south/east/west, it is not compliant. Kitchen sounds fine. – Michael Borden, July 5, 2006

Toilets in the corners are not recommended. Try to move it to a position where it is not in a corner or on centerline of house or in middle of house. When cooking you should face east. – Michael Borden, July 5, 2006

My house main door is opening at east facing side. Kitchen at south facing side. Bed room south side. WC at west facing side. Flat no is 504 which total comes to 9, is this a lucky no. Please advice this is correct direction.

First of all Vastu cannot be applied to existing flats. You can't treat it as an individual only, you need to consider the whole building configuration also. You must verify the REAL building orientation, not just roughly figure that it faces east or some such direction. Secondly, what suggestion do you need? – Michael Borden, July 5, 2006
