Usually we try to place the toilet so the back it to the south. Also, Location of the toilet within the house is important. – Michael Borden, August 8, 2006

Question 999
I have my entrance south facing but recently I have built one staircase on the west part of the house for convenience for the movement of servants etc. Is this correct?
– Ujeli Rai, July 17, 2006

South entrance should not be in center, given Vastu considerations. In your house it may not matter because the structure probably has no resonance with a Vastu Mandala. The west entrance, if properly placed by and expert and in resonance with a Vastu Mandala can bring great wealth. – Michael Borden, August 8, 2006

What should be done to correct the Vastu Dosha. Is the car porch extension is considered while studying Vastu effect.
– Arun Patil, July 17, 2006

Your residence apparently has no relationship to Vastu principles. I would not blame the building for your gout. Do not look outside of yourself for the solution. Lifestyle, habits and thought patterns are very powerful influences. See an expert in Ayurveda for your gout. This medical discipline relies on the body's own healing energies for the cure. If you are really interested in living in tune with Vastu energy, then commit to a pure Vastu residence and live humbly within it. – Michael Borden, August 8, 2006
