Question 1045
Hi, I want to put up bookshelves in the south east corner of my mobile home also in that corner is the junction box which controls all the electricity in my home. Not much I can do about that . I was thinking bookshelf around it with a nice door for access. Help please.
– Connie Cox, September 18, 2006

It can't hurt, but take care to be able to access the electric panel for emergencies. Nothing to applying Vastu principles to. – Michael Borden, November 19, 2006

Question 1044
I would like to know in which direction the temple should be placed inside the room? Secondly, Towards what position should our feet be in our bed?
– Divya Chanana, September 18, 2006

Temple in house should be in the northeast area. Gods facing east. When you sleep, have top of head to east or south. – Michael Borden, November 19, 2006

Question 1043
Is there a remedy to each Vastu Dosha in a house? I am buying a property which is suiting to all my requirements but is not Vastu compliant. Please suggest how should I go about to reduce the ill-effects of my house. Please respond.
– Bela Anand, September 18, 2006

Vastu science in not focused on remedy. The point is you follow the principles from the beginning. The fathers of this knowledge did not mean for it to be used to fix mis-built buildings. It is a map on how to create a building that vibrates with Universal Energy. The basics are Orientation, Auspicious Entry, Room location, Brahmastan (sacred center, and Sacred Dimensions and Geometry. Everytime you enter your house you activate a presiding energy in relationship to the mandala of the house at that point. A door must be precisely located for activation of most beneficial energy.

See vastu-design.com/india_homes.htm for some examples of Vastu designs. There is no reliable text on rectification. To practice rectification one must be a fully trained Vastu architect and know how to apply the important principles in a way that could be effective. It's all experimental. It's not in the ancient texts. – Michael Borden, November 19, 2006

Question 1042
Is it so that one should not place 'sea shells' and objects made from them such as show-pieces in the house? What can one do to reduce domestic arguments? Please reply as soon as possible. Thank you
– Amey M. Deorukhkar, September 12, 2006

Domestic arguments: get some professional help, don't hesitate to seek help. Shells are fine, but cluttered room is not good. – Michael Borden, November 19, 2006

– Babli, September 12, 2006
