Question 1090
Sir, I have a good blessed apartment house. The only thing I want to ask you is about my kitchen which in in the North-East of my apartment adjoining the drawing room. The cooking platform in on the North West which also I cannot change as the opposite platform (south-east) has the sink and water pipes. The location of my kitchen also cannot be shifted anywhere else. Could you kindly advise me some remedy so that I keep the kitchen where it is and use it to my benefit. Best Regards,
– Sunil Sood, December 20, 2006

Vastu Shastra does not make recommendations for remedy. The structural rules must be followed. It is not a remedial science. It is a science of how to make a building that is resonant with cosmic energies. Make a commitment to the correct type of building. – Michael Borden, January 7, 2007

Question 1089
Hi, Is it acceptable if the kitchen is in North-West and the stove facing towards North. The house is facing East and have entrance towards North-East. Master bedroom is in South-East with attached bathroom and second bedroom is in South-West side. Could you please suggest. Thanks
– Jarina Shaik, December 20, 2006

Kitchen can be in northwest as a secondary location, but cook should face east. Entrance toward NE is not correct. Master bed in SE is not correct, if you can not shift to SW then move bed out of SE corner as far as possible. – Michael Borden, January 7, 2007

Question 1088
The role of fish pot?
– Haresh, December 17, 2006

Not needed in Vastu Science. – Michael Borden, January 7, 2007

Question 1087
Hello Ji, We are planning to buy a home. The front door is facing towards South-West direction. I know that East facing is the best but how about South-West? Can you please answer?
– Vasnadimpalli. December 12, 2006

House facing southwest is not advised. Rotation of the house will inhibit energy. Diagonal directions are not accepted in Vastu. – Michael Borden, January 7, 2007

Question 1086
Sir, We bought a flat which is east facing. According to the plan there are three bed rooms one is on the north west side, other is on the north east side and children's room in the southwest direction. Which one can be used as a Master bed room? We can't use children room as master bed room. Can u please suggest which can be used for what? Can we place puja room on the middle of the house with west facing and aquarium in north/north-east direction? In kitchen we will be able to place gas stove in south side only. Is it o.k.? Please give your suggestions.
– Shreesha, December 12, 2006

Master bedroom should be in SW with sleeping with top of head to south or east. Puja in NE or if you can't do this then center is ok. Gods should face east. No need for an aquarium. Kitchen in SE with cook facing east to cook.  – Michael Borden, January 7, 2007
