Temple
should be in NE, it it needs to be in bedroom then put it in NE
corner, but it is best in NE of house. Bathroom in NE is not

Dear Michael,
I am trying to buy house and the one i liked is a split
ranch. The house entrance is facing north. All the bedrooms,
living room are on the left hand side of the house entrance
(North East and South East). Kitchen is on the right hand
side as we enter the house. (NW section of the house). I
need advice - is this ok? Please help me in these questions.

Kitchen
in NW is a secondary location that is accepted, but kitchen in SE is
best. Cook facing east. North entrance is best placed in center of
north side. It's hard to say if this house is acceptable without

Dear Michael,
The house I bought and being constructed has everything in
place except a Guest Bedroom in north East Corner. I am bit
disappointed and concerned as well to use the north east
corner place to sleep somebody rather than to perform
prayers. I could stop using it as a Bedroom and convert it
to Prayer room. My question is is there any wrong to have a
bedroom in north East corner? I only know that the north and

Location
of front door in NW is usually not correct in terms of Vastu. Master
bedroom in NE is ok but in South-West is best. You can use the NE
bedroom, but it is best for elders or brahmachari. – Michael Borden,
