Workshop # 3
The Eternal Flame

Sparks of passion lighted the flame
Which burned briefly and attained the fame
But the moment of glory in its life
Was not without struggle or strife

The flame that burned so silently
Against the winds blowing violently
Struggling valiantly just to survive
Fighting with courage to stay alive

Then a flicker before its final breath
Became the prelude to its certain death
Embracing it with dignity
And passing into eternity

The fire of passion may have died
But true love have survived
Now in death they are one
Their love shines like a sun

Lying together resting in peace
They seem to be totally at ease
No pain, no sorrow, no grief and tear
And all the worries seem to disappear

The flame of love deep in their soul
Will burn forever, without control
Burning somewhere in radiant glow
Standing firm when winds blow

The divine flame glowing in every heart
Yearns for bliss from the start
Dancing somewhere joyously
Burning eternally.
