Workshop # 12
Indian Civilization
Oh! Sage, as old as
Indian Civilization,
have you come from the Himalayas,
with Shivas kamandal
filled with holy Ganges?
No more, do you know people
by their vibrations,
you need this cell phone
for conversation?
Oh! Time, what shape you have given
to Bholenath’s chilam,
I know this saffron color
of love and compassion.
But, why are thousand scorpions
lurking on your face, O Sage?
It should have been sublime,
pure and serene.
