I have been an information scientist by profession worked mostly in the Government sector in India. I was born and educated in Delhi and obtained a postgraduate degree in Mathematics from University of Delhi. I have mostly worked in Delhi and places like Pilani in Rajasthan and Durgapur in West Bengal. I have always kept in touch with Kolkata and a few other places in West Bengal. I run three Bengali poetry magazines from Delhi. I write poetry both in Bengali and English. For travels and tours I have been to Mumbai, Chennai, Pondicherry, Bangalore, Mysore and a few places in North and Eastern India.
