Aruni has spent almost 20 years in England, having moved there as a 15 year old chasing a dream of living in Enid Blyton's world of an English boarding school and then falling in love with the UK. After graduating from the University of Warwick in History and Politics, he initially planned on a career in academia, but middle class Indian compulsions led him to a career in finance. He currently lives in suburban London and tries (partially successfully) to be a competent father to his two children.
