Dr. Dinesh Sharma, the founder and chief physician of Prakash Ayurvedic Nethralaya & Panchakarma Kendra, took to the practice of ophthalmology after his studies of Ayurvedic Medical Science. After his graduation, he completed his specialization in Ayurvedic Ophthalmology under Guru Shishya Parampara of center govt. under Guru Dr. N.P.P. Namboothiri, a famous Ayurvedic ophthalmologist at Kerala. After finishing his studies he worked with Sreedhareeyam, a prestigious ayurvedic eye hospital of kerala. He also worked with National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. Then in 2009, the idea of serving the visionless with the authentic eye treatment inspired him to lay the foundation of Prakash Ayurvedic Nethralaya & Panchakarma Kendra. He holds the potential to treat all critical cases of retinal diseases like Retinitis Pigmentosa (R.P.), Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma and others through holistic and ayurvedic treatment. The patient in the O.P.D. is examined thoroughly to access the prakriti and vikriti of the individual and disease. After reaching at a conclusion according to ayurvedic concepts, the ayurvedic treatment begins. We do not compromise at any level of the treatment.
