BE (Electrical) (1955) Roorkee, Post graduate Research and specialization in multi-discipline industrial applications involving metallurgy and electronics, industrial and business management in India and USA. Research and post graduate education and training in University of Roorkee and Youngstown University at Youngstown Ohio USA.
Worked with Public sector Steel plant for 15 years till 1972, with an excellent professional record. Last post Chief Electrical Engineer Rolling Mills and Deputy Controller of Purchase and Stores at Durgapur Steel Plant. (Took voluntary retirement to chart out a career on my own)
Based on in-house R&D, started successful multiplant medium scale, 100% Export oriented and domestic industries, for the manufacture and development of high strength high conductivity specialty copper alloys, for high flexibility wires and conductors used in professional and aerospace applications
Have taken voluntary relief from day to day involvement in his own industries, for social and community service, and self study.
Active participation in Indian Standards formulations activity of BIS for over forty years.
Present Activities:
Study of ancient Indian Scriptures particularly Vedas, with a view to validation of, social and scientific knowledge, as applicable tomodern society for sustainability, and modern ecological concerns, and writing on these topics.
Successful running of a charitable non profit 500 heads Goshala, in Delhi, on traditional Indian strategies, as a sustainable model helping neighborhood Goshalas by providing all help in Indian cow breed improvement, training man power, technical veterinary guidance and providing good male calves for natural service breeding, Vermicomposting, Organic cultivation etc, as a resource center, on the basis of Gopalan in Vedas.
Rural socially sustainable activities, involving Vocational training and nutrition, organic horticulture intervention with school children and self help groups.
Associated with Ganga Cleaning, Sustainable sewage disposal, Stray cattle care and Goshala activity strategies in Uttaranchal with Uttaranchal Govt. on behalf of NGOs, in Public private partnership initiatives.
Have been associated with IIT Delhi, Center for Rural Development & Technology in symbiotic activities such as PURA work in Chattisgarh.
Have Participated in Akashwani by talks and discussions on Sustainable Organic, Agriculture, Nutrition and Rural issues.
R&D on Hydroponics Fodder production system to suit Indian conditions. Work sponsored by Dabur Ayurvet and carried out at RKGIT engineering college Ghaziabad. (One patent application filed by Dabur Ayurvet)
Made a presentation in Vigyan Bhawan early this year, in Seminar organized by National Productivity Council on Issues relating to Quality and Safety relating to milk in Indian Dairy Industry.
Gave a presentation on 5th June 2009 -World Environment day at MAFSU (Maharashtra Animals Fishery Sciences University) Nagpur on issue relating to cow as centre point of environmental sustainability.
Research work in Goshala on intensive cultivation of Green leaf fodders and enhancement of Omega 3 in Cow Milk. |
