Prof. Dr. K. V. Dominic is a renowned English poet, critic, short story writer and editor from Thodupuzha, Kerala.  He is a retired Associate Professor of the PG & Research Department of English, Newman College, Thodupuzha. His PhD is on the topic “East-West Conflicts in the Novels of R. K. Narayan with Special Reference to The Vendor of Sweets, Waiting for the Mahatma, The Painter of Signs and The Guide”. He has authored and edited thirty nine books so far including six poetry books in English, one each translation in Hindi, Bengalai, Tamil, Gujarati, French and two short story books. Four critical books on his poetry have been published from USA with the objective of including his poetry in the university syllabus of South Asian Studies in USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Dr. Dominic is currently the Secretary of Guild of Indian English Writers, Editors and Critics (GIEWEC). It is a large literary family consisting of professional writers, editors, university/college professors and PhD research scholars from India and abroad.   He is also the editor of two international refereed biannual journals, Writers Editors Critics (WEC) and International Journal on Multicultural Literature (IJML). He is a regular participant of the South Asian Literature Festival conducted by the Foundation of SAARC Writers and Literature, New Delhi. PhD researches are in progress on his poetry. He has organised eight international and national seminars on English literature in different universities and colleges in India. He has also conducted several workshops on Research Methodology and documentation styles all over the country.
