Karabi Hazarkia is now the Assistant Professor of English at Naharkatiya College,Naharkatiya,Dibrugarh, Assam. She is a renowned writer on social issues particularly on children and women in the printed media of Assam. She has to her credit many articles published in national and International journals. Her book Women in Dictionary is going to be published very shortly. She is a regular reviewer of books, and she is engaged in research. Very recently she takes interest in translating poems in English with renowned writers.
