Jay grew up in the city of Dhanbad, India. After finishing his bachelor’s in Mining Engineering from IIT-BHU (Varanasi), he worked as a scriptwriter in Mumbai for some time and then moved to Houston, USA for higher studies. Currently he is living and working in Houston. Recently his poems got published in TWJ magazine.
