I was born in Tanganyika (now Tanzania) of India parentage. Studied at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, India; Universities of Cambridge, England (Engineering); Harvard Business School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA (Business Management); School of Oriental and African Studies, London Univ, England (Politics, Ancient Religions of India); Calgary, Alberta, Canada (Politics, Islam, Philosophy, Religion). Worked as a Professional Consultanr Engineer and Management in East Africa (1955-1971); India (1972-1978); England (1979-81); Canafa (1982-1995). Retired in 1995, studying at University of Calgary (1997- 2012) and reading/writing till today. Spent 6 months of winters in Punjab, India from 2000 to 2013.
