Amit Shankar Saha

Amit Shankar Saha was born in Calcutta. He did his schooling from St. Anthony's High School. He received his B.Sc. from Maulana Azad College; and from Calcutta University he received a Special BA and an MA in English. He is currently researching for his Ph.D. thesis on the works of Anita Desai, Bharati Mukherjee, Sunetra Gupta, and Jhumpa Lahiri under the supervision of Dr. Santanu Majumdar of Calcutta University. His interests lie in academic research and creative writing. His works have appeared in e-journals like Cerebration, DesiLit Magazine, MuseIndia, Boloji, etc. and in print journal Families. He also blogs at Sulekha.com and Blogspot.com
