Glory Sasikala Franklin

Glory Sasikala was born in Kolkata 1964 and is the daughter of C.A. Pillay and Seshamal Pillay. She spent her early years traveling along the east coast before settling down in Kolkata. She completed her schooling from the West Bengal Board and did her degree from Venkateswara University.

Her husband is a Bank Officer with Canara Bank and she has two children, a boy and girl.

She has a novel titled "Goodbye Papa," published from Writers Workshop, Kolkata and several poems and articles published in the net and in magazines. Some of her poems were also published in the Poetry Journal of the Poetry Society of India.

She is an active member of various writing societies in Chennai. She also has her own writer's yahoo group: glorioustimes@yahoogroups.com

Besides this, Glory also runs a newsletter each month called Glory's Mailer, which covers writers and writing events in India.

Currently, she is in the process of getting her second novel published.
