Kathryn Whittaker-Huff, is a Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhist living in New Orleans. She is frequently seen doing whatever it takes to keep Dhongnak Tharling Dharma Center, the Western seat of the combined Rigdzin Dakgyud lineages held at Tolu Gomba, up and running. 

The mother of two daughters, Kathryn teaches at the University of New Orleans and plays jazz piano in local and regional clubs.
