Major General
Shekhar Sen, VSM

Major General Shekhar Kumar Sen VSM belongs to the Indian Postal  Service, 1968 batch. He has served as Director of the Postal Staff College in Karnataka and is an expert in Management. He was seconded to the Indian Army and at present heads the Army  Postal Service as Additional Director General. He was awarded  the Vishisht Seva Medal for distinguished service. An avid reader,  he is equally at home in English, Bengali and Sanskrit. He has  translated the Puranik humorous stories of Parashurama (Rajshekhar  Basu) from Bengali.
