Sugandha Indulkar

Sugandha Indulkar is a freelance journalist by profession. She took to this profession for the pure ‘zest for life’ that it offers and the immense possibility to touch upon varied aspects of life. Born and brought up in Thane, a central suburb near the commercial capital of India. She is keenly interested in yoga and spirituality. She conducts honorary training workshops and imparts lessons in both, especially for children. She has been associated with yoga more than the past ten years and with Brahmavidya, a unique spiritual science since the past eight years. As a child she was interested in Kathak, a classical dance of India and writing. She had had maintained a collection of her poems and a chronicle of events since she was barely ten.

Today, she spends her time working as a freelance writer (English), editor and journalist contributing regular columns and content to many local newspapers and magazines and regional, topical supplements of the Times Of India Group. A mother of four year old Rajlakshmi, she looks after her small family comprising of her husband, Ravindra and daughter. “I firmly believe each individual is a manifestation of the Lord. Every one of us has come here to fulfill our role and must do so in accord with His vision. We are often bogged down by the trifles of life and begin putting forth meaningless questions. Stop questioning, start accepting and understanding His ways silently, and watch the magic unfold…,” is something she is presently doing in every walk of her life.
