Will Ever...

Will ever the lustre
in the diamond be seen,
if the beam of light straying into it
is not held back in captivity?
Will ever an ocean of tear
set a pearl, if a sandgrain
in the tiny corner of the oyester
does not irritate her?
Will one ever guess
in the flint stone fire is hidden,
if it is not struck hard
and unused it always remains?
Sun rays in the open space
do not leave any trace,
until in mid-sky the moon
does not entice them by her lovely face?
Would you have ever looked back,
had the thorns in my garden
not held back your flowing tress
for you to lean for an embrace...!
