There is little to no monitoring on the situation of the safety of women in the online world.

With the advent of cameras on mobile phones and access to mobile phones, we often hear about women being secretly photographed and videographed in public places.

The security of women is of pre-eminent importance. The safety and security of women and children in public area must be fully given by the law enforcement authorities.

We often hear about how the photos/videos of ordinary women in routine work in malls/ railway stations/ shops/cinemas/ parks/offices, beaches etcetera taken by criminal minded and misguided youth are put on the internet. This is highly condemnable.

The police should keep moving in public places in Mufti to ensure the safety of women in the public places and to ensure that their privacy is not infringed upon by some people.

There should also be a complete and blanket ban on all pornographic websites in India. This will help to reduce the criminal mentality in people thereby leading to a drop in crimes like rape.
