I think Amit Mitra has gone out of his head. His is a classic case of "A man is known by the company he keeps". As a FICCI Director General he had some bit of respect. So was he for a certain amount of time when he increased revenue collection of West Bengal Government by 50 per cent or more for the Chief Minister of his State to frivolously spend on clubs and for sectarian appeasement. Amit Mitra is cosily ensconsed in the Trinamul Congress circus, probably driven to the current extent by another Mitra, Ritabrata, now Rajya Sabha member, and SFI zealot who tore Amit's Kurta in the Planning Commission precincts two years back. Bengal is a classic case of political hooliganism of five decades where bhadraloks have to save their skin from goondas and have to make conciliatory noises for the mesiah who on a single point agendum tore down the last bastion of communism of this earth. Shri Mitra, I feel sorry for you, who I heard from his own mouth in FICCI that he has a Netaji connection. Best wishes for you.
