It is a shame that farmers have to commit suicide because of crop failure. Could not our lawmakers and administrators ensure crop insurance? Can not the block developmednt officers be laden with this simple duty of crop insurance under their area of jurisdiction? Can not at least the State and Central Government send truckloads of crop wherever there is a crop failure because of draught or hail or pest, whatever? Of late Mr Modi's Government has announced a compensation package which is good. But my suggestions in this blog also should also be considered side by side.
