I am a professional Geologist. I retired from the Geological Survey of India, as a Deputy Director-General and since my retirement, I am engaging myself as a consultant Geologist for issues related to geological environments and public health as well as to application of Geology to Agriculture. I am based in Chennai. I write poems both in Tamil and English and you can view some of my contributions, for example, in Poemsclub.com or All-poetry.com and Eluthu.com. My hobbies consist of bird-watching, singing classical and light carnatic as well as Hindustani music.,and writing articles on topics related to Hinduism as a way of life.
